  1. Thanks for including me in this list–I’m honored! The links were really great (although the Hugh MacLeod one doesn’t seem to be working, though maybe it’s just my computer).

Nonetheless, thanks for sharing these. They’re really great resources.

    • I’ve spent a lot of time lately trying to make myself more efficient. It’s always tempting to mistake that efficiency with speed. Every time I find myself rushing (which happens often) that quote pops into my head. Thanks for it.

As for the link, that’s strange. It’s definitely working for me. His main site is: http://gapingvoid.com if you’re interested.

      • I’m so glad that it’s helped you! Finding a balance between speed and efficiency isn’t easy (especially when there’s so much pressure on us to get things done quickly), but as long as we remind ourselves to be patient, we can continue to produce quality work. And what’s more efficient than quality? Thanks for the link! I’m checking it out right now.

  2. SmarterThanIAm.com huh? Well, you could probably put just about anybody’s post up there for me then. I think I was smarter than this one guy, but he quit blogging so I’ve been on a search ever since. Maybe you can do one of these with pictures as well.

It’s interesting and informative you seek these out and have the time to not only read these but the other blogs you visit and do your day job as well. I read a lot and fortunately I can read fast as well but I still get the fire hose effect at times.

That’s like the open house we went to for my oldest son his senior yr in high school. He had all AP classes and I’m sitting there thinking any one of those classes would have been a depth charge for me and just blown me out of the water. I quickly recognized I was out of my element.

That’s why I like hanging around smart guys like you. I might not be the sharpest tack in the box, but I do know how to make it work for me………….:)

    • Hilarious, BetterLookingThanIAm.com :)

Instapaper really makes this easy to curate and I pull almost all of them from my regular reading.

Smart kid you’ve got there. AP was never in my wheelhouse.

I’m with you buddy, not the brightest crayon in the box, but I show up nicely on white paper.
