From Iain Broome:
To be creative is not to write, design or develop when things are going well and you have time on your hands. Anyone can do that. It’s about finding a way to do your thing, in whatever circumstances you find in front of you.
For years, I thought I wasn’t creative. That there was a voice that spoke to others that just wouldn’t speak to me. I was wrong and I was lazy. I let obstacles, circumstances and the fact that it wasn’t something that would ever come easily stop me from creating.
Now, I just type and eventually ideas come out. The more I type, the better (hopefully) the ideas. The more I edit, the better (hopefully) the ideas. The more I create, the better (hopefully) I get at being creative. Because to be honest, it’s not about being creative, it is simply about creating.
